Deepest condolences to the entire Williams family, friends, soldiers, and peers. Another hero gone to soon that will never be forgotten . Thank you for your service dedication to the missions you completed,  your leadership, mentorship, and friendships.  This is not goodbye  but see you later on the other side. Sending prayers to the Williams family may God cover you in his blanket of strength  during this difficult time. The Gaines Family.

Thank you for your service Command Sgt, Major Williams. Be in Gods arms and Rest in peace. May God hold your family close.
I had the great privilege of working with Jackie. She was funny, kind, generous with her knowledge and incredibly smart.  She gave the best advice, too. One of my favorite Jackie-isms, shared when I was having a particularly rough day: “Someone told me many years ago that as a woman in a position of influence, other women were always watching me and waiting to see how I handled things and if I was unshakable. Be unshakable.” Thank you, Jackie, for teaching me, and many others, to be unshakeable. I love you, my friend.

As a young Soldier, I had the privilege of serving under CSM Williams as her driver. My time with her was filled with invaluable lessons. She was stern yet nurturing, always creating opportunities for growth. I vividly remember the day I accidentally dropped the Nation's colors as she entered the office. After a firm conversation, I was assigned a research project that has stayed with me to this day. What I initially perceived as a punishment turned out to be the catalyst for my career in research and writing. Thank you, CSM Williams, for believing in me and shaping me into the person I am today. May you rest in peace eternally.

Jackie was in charge of conducting a series of trainings on accountable property at our office. Her normal attire was smart casual, she always looked sharp. On the first day of training she was wearing a gray sweater with a huge fabric heart sewn on the chest. It wasn't her typical look. She kicked off training with a huge smile and a call out to her sweater. She laughed and said, "You may notice I'm wearing this heart today and I'll tell you why. I love accountable property. I really do." It was partially in fun to break the ice, she later told me, but was also partially true. She was animated about her job and she was great at it. She made it look effortless and gave the impression she genuinely enjoyed being there. It was great to see her in action. She brightened the office anytime she came through the door. I learned a lot from Jackie and am forever grateful I got the chance to work alongside her.
