I have known Jake since he was born.  He was very dynamic, friendly and very smart.  My heart is broken for this loss, and I keep him and his family in my heart, and in my prayers.  Let's look up to the night sky, and see the newest and brightest new star.

Very sorry to see this news. It's been a long time since we saw each other in person, but I will always remember Jake as a warm, welcoming guy who deeply loved his family.

I am so sorry to hear about Jacob's passing. He was such a kind and thoughtful person. I remember talking with Jacob at my Uncle/his Grandfather's funeral, Jim DeFreeuw. You will be sorely missed. God bless you, Jacob and all of your family and friends. Rest in Peace. Love, Sarah DeFreeuw

Jacob was such a special guy. I think back on the memories and how many times he came to visit Andrew and myself and just smile. Gonna miss him and his stories and laugh. Rest in peace buddy. I know you are watching over us

Being the witness at Sarah and Jacob’s wedding was what we all said was the best day of all of our lives. So happy to experience that and share that memory with them. Makes me feel so special because I know how special that day was to them and getting to be a part of that will always stick with me and the feeling of it as well. I’ll miss the fact that Jacob had a story for any and every kind of topic you could think of. Like he lived many more lifetimes than just this one. Great conversationalist a great friend and now a great memory. He will live on through my best friend / his wife. She will definitely make sure his legacy lives on and he is never forgotten! #neverforget
