Jack was born and raised in Gering, Nebraska. Upon completion of high school, he moved to Denver Colorado to attend the University of Denver where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. In March of 1959, Jack married a high school classmate Sandra Deines. After graduating from the University of Denver in August 1959, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corp. During his time in the service, he served as an artillery officer and an air observer. In January 1963 he returned to Denver and started his career with Boettcher and Company and became a General Partner of the firm. He retired from the securities industry in 1993. Jack enjoyed fly fishing, hunting with family, friends and his dogs, in the great outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 60 years and three children, Mark Pepper(Deborah), Todd Pepper(Tara) and Amy Pepper. Also survived by four granddaughters Sara, Megan, Jacqueline and Jane, and four sisters, Margaret Pepper, Sandra Dutton, Patricia Williams and Norma Christensen. He is preceded in death by his mother Pearl, and two sisters Jean Brice and Janice Helser. Private services were held for Jack, a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He passed March 10, 2019 peacefully, surrounded by his family. He will truly be missed.
