Sandy,
I am so sorry to hear of Jackโ€™s passing in March. Sorry I did not reach out to him more before he left us!! I lost my wife 22 years ago, so I know the pain you are going through. I have remarried & we are living in Palm Springs, CA, then summers back in MN. Life is good and I express my sympathy for the loss of that dear man.
God bless you & your family.

I had the fortune to meet and become friends with Jack when we both were part of a large fishing lease on the Colorado River ( Con Richards Ranch, The Lazy Seven). When the Whirling Disease arrived on the Colorado River, I moved over to a large fly fishing property on the Roaring Fork. I soon found that another piece was available on our Ranch and the first one that I called was Jack. Jack and I have been partners there for 30 years and he has been a great partner and friend. I am happy that he passed his ownership to his son, Mark, a great new partner for me.
Sorry to his family of his passing. I knew Jack many years ago when he worked at Boettcher. I was working at the law firm of Ballard Spahr and we did many transactions together. He asked me to move to Phoenix and work in their office for Boettcher. I did that but it wasn't a great experience (don't like hot weather). Jack was a very nice person and he will be missed by everyone who knew him. Kathy Copeland
