I am honoring my aunt and Godmother, Angie today - the 2nd anniversary of her passing. Titi, I think of you often and desperately miss your sage advice and soothing presence. I was recently in Aguada where you and my Mom, Carmen Celia were born. I visited the local church there and said a prayer for the both of you. Love, Julie

I was 9 or 10 visiting, on one of my solo bus trips. Where Titi Angie was always waiting for me at the Bus depot, she was never late for me.
A day or 2 later, Fran decides we (the kids) are going ice skating on the lake/pond across the road. The lake/pond was covered in snow, so she had all of us cleaning the ice off. We created a path to skate with our hands, but my problem was that I didn't have gloves. Freezing, we headed back.
As soon as I walked in, Titi Angie saw me and went to work. My hands were freezing and she was afraid frost bite was setting in. She worked on my hands for quite a while.
She always treated me as her own, when my mother was around or when she wasn't.
Fast forward to the weekend of Fran's funeral. The cousins headed to the mall. While we were there, the girls talked me into getting my ear (one) pierced.
When we got back to the house, Angie saw my new earring and said hold on. She went upstairs and came back with 1 diamond earring. It was Fran's. Fran had lost the other one, Angie wanted me to wear it and I did for years.
We are glad to have been able to spend time with you in your last years. Our talks on mom's patio. You will be missed! Love you!
