For Ira’s children:  we were teammates at Brooklyn Technical High School.  Ira was a gifted athlete and student.  He was easy to know, talk to, and love. In the recent 10-15 years we became friends and stayed in- touch at football games and team reunions.

I will miss Ira, his passion for guiding Brooklyn Tech football players to an apt college experience, and his creativeness in life.  May he rest in peace.  Allan Larsen.  Captain 1959 Brooklyn Tech Football Team.

I was so sorry to hear about Ira's passing I will especially miss his way of smiling, even when he totally disagreed with you just said.
Ira was a favorite friend, teammate and also my periodondist, so I knew him in his many phases of life. he always brought a smile to my face and will certainly be missed in these difficult times.
