It’s hard to find the word’s to express how sad I was to hear of his passing.

Howie was one of the of the nicest, kindest person I know.

Riley and I went to visit him in the hospital towards the end of April. I'm so grateful to have had that time with him and for Riley to have had that time as well!

The most recent act of kindness Howie showed me was telling me to go see Erica and family in Crystal Lake. This was shortly before he died. He was concerned because we hadn’t been there and they had lived there over a year. Of course I didn’t go, but he was always thinking of me.

Many fond memories of great times with Nem over the years (especially in college).  He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.  He will be missed by everyone who knew him.  Sending deepest condolences to Jana and Erica and the rest of the family.  Murray

What a kind hearted, beautiful & wonderful obituary.  All the traits of the dear friend we lost. Deeply saddened. Our condolences to Jana & Erica

Howard was our Tax Guy for 15 years. Such a hoot! With a soft voice, a quick wit, we would get the lowdown of the past years travels.  

He always was first to ask how our lives were going, and what we had been up to as well.

Never in a rush to leave, always genuinely interested in our lives.

I can only imagine how amazing a friend he was to those who knew him better.

He and Jana came together the past few years. When I told him I had lost my Gregg after 46 years that year, both of their heartfelt condolences were most appreciated and heartfelt. 

He was just a truly lovely man. 

My heart hurts for your family Jana.

I knew “NEM” for 58 years. He was my college roommate freshmen year. He was a loving fun soft spoken gentleman. Truly saddened by his passing. Sincere condolences to Jana, Erica & the entire family. Marty Chico Munvez
