Hilda was a lovely lady. I enjoyed the time I was lucky to spend with her. Thinking of and praying for her family. She is well missed.

My husband Tom & I are very saddened over the news of Hilda’s passing. She was an extraordinary woman. I always had wished I had known her longer. She made a great impression upon my heart. I feel grateful for the short friendship we shared. I noticed a couple of years ago that her memory had been fading. I realized that she didn’t recognize nor remember much about me. I felt devastated for her & her family. Especially for Tim. I was honored & blessed by knowing her. Earth is missing a true angel. Tom & I send our deepest condolences to you, Tim & your entire family. Our loving thoughts & prayers are with you all. God is with you.

Hilda became a treasured exercise buddy at the Wellness Center in Kenedy, Texas. I feel blesssed that I got to spend numerous hours walking & talking with her. She was always eager to try to teach me to walk backwards or show me how to roll my hips walking forward. She was always fun & energetic; definitely glamorous. She was quite good at Yoga and loved standing on one leg. But my favorite memories were times spent swimming in the pool. Hilda taught me to swim; I became a very good swimmer, thanks to her. We were the only 2 people crazy enough to swim when the heater was broken & the water was cold. It was normal for us to swim side stroke back & forth across the pool and talk for two hours whether the water was hot or cold.
When Hilda moved back to Minnesota I lost one of the most amazing people I ever knew. I am grateful that our paths crossed. Now that she has truly moved on & left everyone behind, I feel a mixture of sadness and awe. Hilda lived her best life always and it was a privilege knowing her.
My condolences to the family. She was the best!

Rene and I were blessed to spend time with Hilda when she moved back to Runge, Texas. We loved and admired the kindness, love, and honor she gave Tia Minnie. Hilda was intelligent and such a classy gal. She was a fun and positive person to be around. We also admired the loving relationship she and Tim had.
Our sincere condolences to Tim and Robbie and his family.
You are all in our hearts and prayers.

I met Miss Hilda at Richfield Dual Language School where she was our nurse for a short time. Her friendship continued after we both left the school and I will miss our chats about her life. She was a joy to be around and I'll never forget her!
