Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Helene ‘Honey’ Nelson passed peacefully on August 8th, 2024, in her home, with her daughter Julie by her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY on December 3, 1931, Honey graduated from James Madison High School and went on to attend both Hunter College as well as the School of Art and Design at the Pratt Institute. She moved to Stamford, CT in 1955 with her best friend and husband of 50 …
