She was always peaceful person , when I share my spainish class with her. And I felt that there country deep in her heart .
My excellent friend Marie, not a day goes by that I do not think of you.  Stars and night skies, sunrises and sunsets, baby chicks and goats, flowers, spiders,  the smell of baking bread, corny jokes, all those songs we played together, any banjo tune I hear, and every single honey bee I see reminds me of our time together.  How I wish that I could make more memories with you.  What grand adventures we had!
We already miss Marie's presence.   We are sorry that we will not be able to attend her celebration.  Our thoughts and hearts are with you.
Marie is missed every day and our prayers are lifted up to her. She is in our hearts and mind each day we till the fields and harvest the crops because we knew that what she would be doing if she were here. Let us know how we can help with anything. The Lord added a new angel when Marie arrived.
To all of Marie's family, Dale and Sharon send our heartfelt condolences. Dale grew up with Marie in Fairfax, as both our fathers were members of the Fairfax VFD. We spent many occasions together including canoeing, fishing, collecting running pine for Christmas wreathes, sledding, a trip to St. Petersburg FL to watch Anthony in the Little League World Series Regional playoffs, and many days and nights with our families enjoying time together. As throughout her entire life, she was always upbeat, caring, and so much fun. She was also my senior prom date, and we had so much fun with cousin Janet.
What a full life - rest in peace "Rie", and much love.
Dale and Sharon Sheads
We send our love and thoughts to you all during this time. This garden is such a special way to honor your mom.

I  met and became immediate friends with Marie when she joined a group of women for the "Women And The River" weekend of kayak instruction and river kayaking that I was hosting.  She was so energetic and full of life, and her enjoyment of the the time we all spent together on the river was evident with every smile she shared.  When she found out that I play the fiddle she immediately invited me to the All Girl Jam sessions she hosted.  What a wonderful group of women she had brought together!  Marie had such a love of life and it showed in everything she did.  I feel so blessed to have met her and to have become her friend.

We had the privilege of watching Marie grow from a lovely, caring girl of 12 to a lovely young woman, mother,  caregiving  daughter and a wonderful giving(and Very talented) woman.  The world was better with Marie in it and she will be missed by all who had the privilege of meeting or knowing her.  Lonnie and Margie McDonald

Marie will be greatly missed. She was a very special woman
Our hearts are saddened by the loss of Marie. We are thankful to have some of the ceramic eggs she painted that we enjoy each Christmas. We loved chatting with her about bees and enjoying acoustic music together. May wonderful memories bring you comfort. Faith Dickerson and Brian Giles
