I had the privilege of working closely with Heidi for many years at McKinsey and Company. I wanted to share an unusual photo because it is more than a great memory, I feel it shows some of the fine qualities Fred spoke of in his loving tribute.

After a difficult week spent working in our Tokyo Office Heidi was determined to have the freshest sushi for breakfast on Saturday. In this picture I am struggling to keep up with Heidi (blue sweater) as she literally runs through the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo at 5:30 in the morning. Typical Heidi. She was more than a colleague, she was a good friend and always such a pleasure to be with. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and she will be missed.
