Heidi Leigh Hanssen passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends. She had an infectious smile, a huge heart filled with love for all, and a true spirit of adventure. She lived her life to the fullest extent, the way she wanted to, and never looked back.

Her dedication to education was unmatched. During her 21 years as a teacher and principal, she made a lasting impression on every student, teacher, and community she worked within.

Heidi always excelled. As a child, a student, an athlete, a teacher, a principal, an adventurer, a wife, a sister, and a loving aunt.

As a wife, she was adored, and she adored Andy in return. They filled their lives together with new experiences worldwide, always in search of the F U N.

As a sister, her love was profound.

As an aunt, Heidi's unwavering support and dedication were a guiding light for her niece and nephews. Her high standards will continue to inspire them, ensuring her legacy lives on.

As a friend, her illuminating spirit gathered the best of the best.

We will look for the signs every day and will never stop loving you and remembering the life you shared...Lucky us.
