Heather was a great friend, leader, and a comedian. She made everyone laugh and made them feel important. She encouraged all of us to do better. The world is better because she was in it. 

Heather was indeed a badass!  She was also a kind, caring and hardworking Air Force Officer, a talented Nurse, and an effective leader.  She was a total pleasure to work with and a person who cared genuinely about the team she led and the people she worked with.   I was blessed to have her on my team and I will always be thankful for ability to balance and support her squadron to effectively meet mission needs, while raising two wonderful daughters with her husband Tony.    She gave so much during her incredibly short life and I am deeply saddened by this profound loss.
