Harold's obituary

Harold John Watkins “Lucky Harry” 74, of Chesapeake, VA passed away on March 11th, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. 

Harold was born on April 2nd, 1948 in Brockton MA to Frederick and Kathleen Watkins.  He graduated from Brockton High School, Class of ‘66. Harold was a Vietnam Veteran of the Army.  Served from 67-69 and Vietnam from 67-68.  Then went on to join the Norfolk Police Dept in 1969 and he retired in 2005 after 35 1/2 years.  

He is preceded in death by his wife Keary “Kitten” Watkins, sister Louise Waladis, aunt Florence Holmes and grandson Wellford Brock IV. 

Left to charish his memories are his daughters Kellie Watkins Floyd (Keith), Kamie Curry (Richard), Kimbaly Watkins (Adam) and Kristal White (Raymond). 

2 brothers Joel Richard Watkins and Frederick Lawrence Watkins and a brother in law Don Glenn Smith.

10 grand children Jonathon Burd (Miranda), Shelby Carson (Robert), Tabitha White, Amanda White, Christopher Arauza ( Heather), Natalia Arauza Morrison (Jake), David Stone, Logan Dowdy, Thomas Russell and Katie White.

Along with 11 great grand children.  And cousin Laura Holmes.

The family will receive visitation at a later date.
