First, so sorry for this tremendous loss of someone so beloved. Harry will be missed, but never far from our thoughts. I have fond memories of my uncle Harry.
When I was a kid, my mom loaded us kids in a car and we drove east to visit our many relatives on the east coast. One of the stops that summer was my uncle Harry and aunt Kittens house in Virginia Beach. They were so gracious and welcoming when we visited. I got to know my uncle Harry and talk to him about his work and his life. What a great summer memory. Flash forward many years. My memories of this visit inspired me to go into law enforcement and eventually become a detective. Eventually, investigating the same types of crimes as my uncle Harry.
Thank you uncle Harry, for your inspiration and for these memories. And for just being an awesome person. I have no doubt you are looking down on us all, watching over us. Anyway, thank you again for everything. You really had an impact on people’s lives. And isn’t that what this journey is all about?
Much love being sent to all my cousins and my other relatives during this difficult time.

I am sadden to hear about Harry. He was a great guy and a pleasure to know him. When I first came on NPD I looked at him and thought "Now that's a true officer" in looks and demeanor. I learned a lot of good tips on being patrolman. Rest in peace my friend..

My sympathy to the Watkins Family. I worked with Harry in the NPD for many years and he always did the right thing towards suspects and citizens alike. His demeanor rarely changed, in dealing with various situations and people. He was a great guy in all the years I worked with him.

Harry was a classmate of mine at Brockton High. I remember him as very handsome and a great/sweet guy. I’m so sorry for your loss!🙏
