Obituary
Handong Gui passed away suddenly of an apparent heart attack on July 27 in Shanghai, China after arriving there on July 17.
He had graduated with his Ph.D. in electrical engineering in May 2020 from The University of Tennessee, and previously received his B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Handong participated in several power electronics projects related to electric vehicles and more-electric aircraft.
