Handong's obituary
He had graduated with his Ph.D. in electrical engineering in May 2020 from The University of Tennessee, and previously received his B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Handong participated in several power electronics projects related to electric vehicles and more-electric aircraft.
He received several awards from the The University of Tennessee, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and from IEEE. He was known for his collegiality and was always volunteering to help others learn laboratory techniques or skills in writing papers and making presentations. His easy smile and positive attitude will be missed by everyone who knew him.
