Dear Tim, Adam and Terry,

We would like to offer our sincerest condolences on the passing of your brother, and our friend Gregg. Curtis was pretty upset. They grew up together. We tried to visit Gregg at Thornton View and we were not permitted to enter without a POA permission. This very much saddened us as we did want to spend some more time with Gregg. He was very helpful and a good friend to us, in the neighbourhood. Often Gregg would babysit our dogs and come  over to help at the house. And trying to visit with Adam. Sometimes it was nearly impossible, but we all had some good laughs. We were saddened to know that your mother had passed away as well. We didn't find out about that until after it had already occurred. Curtis asked, how could this possibly have happened? And I said, the difference was GregG developed a fatal disease, that we didn't know about, and with Terry and Elaine moving from the neighbourhood, it left us all in limbo and may have divided us. You should always know how much we cared. And how much we wish you all the best, in loving memory and fun thoughts of your Gregg.

Carolyn, Brian, Curtis, Adam, and Deanna Rylott.

Our sincere condolences to Terry, Adam and Tim upon hearing of Gregg's passing.  With all his challenges, it was heartwarming to read of Gregg's accomplishments and rewarding interests. His early year photos brought back fond memories, especially for Michael. He remembers his time with Gregg playing micro machines, computer games and darts, that would end up in your basement ceiling.

Please know we are thinking of you.

My condolences, Terry and family.

I have many memories of great friendship with Gregg.

The many video games in your basement where he dominated and beat me. Or the hockey or outdoor sports where he was great.

I remember the visits to the cottage. "Here fishy fishy" always helped us catch the fish.

He deserved more. But he made what he had the most. God bless your family and friends.

Oh Terry, Adam and Tim...Walter and I are so very sorry for your loss. Any words fall short to bring comfort in this difficult time but we all want to say them anyway. You have lost someone so dear to you. Gregg was such a special person. His big smile and laugh are things we will remember. The Memorial service was excellent and we really enjoyed seeing all the great pictures of Gregg and the family. I really liked the Psalm you chose and felt uplifted by her words. May the love of God help you through this time and strengthen you when times are tough.
Wow these are such wonderful memories and pictures of Gregg! Gregg and I were penpals for a few years when we were teenagers and he always remembered to send me a card on my birthday. I know my mom, Janice, really enjoyed hanging with him when she would care for him for a few days. I'm so sorry for your loss - Gregg will be missed ❤️

Tim & Maureen, Terry, Adam and Family - My deepest condolences for the loss of Gregg.

I'm so happy to have gotten to know him as a fellow groomsman at Tim and Maureen’s wedding.

He and I may have had the steepest learning curve when it came to our line dancing choreography - but we were in it together!!

I’ll always remember his infectious (and mischievous!) smile and think of him whenever I put on a funky pair of ‘men in black’ sunglasses 😎 (you had to be one of Tim’s groomsman to understand).

Sincerest sympathy’s ,

Jeff

Terry:  my heart is with you during this time of sadness.  Sincere condolences to you and your family.  I am glad Gregg was a part of our Westminster family.  May he be at peace.

I will attend the service tomorrow via livestream.

My condolences Terry and family.  I grew up with Gregg at church and we always had alot of fun in youth group back in the day.  Wishing you peace as you mourn his loss.

I will always remember Gregg’s laugh! It was so unique and infectious. He was the perfect person to tell some new lame joke to because he would always laugh and smile. In fact, I don’t know if I ever saw him not smiling. Gregg seemed to enjoy just about everybody and everything. It was always great running into him after our years with church youth group because speaking with him just filled some part of your soul, deep down inside.  He had this way that just oozed natural positivity, and it was contagious. We were better just for having been in his presence. Gregg, my friend, I will miss you! Terry my heart goes out to you with my sincere condolences. I’m glad your family was in my life.

Our sincere sympathy to Terry, Adam, Tim and their families. The Wayne Playter family has wonderful memories of growing up with the Johnstone’s during summer cottaging on Kushog Lake. Gregg was part of the boating, game playing and generally hanging out with the team of Edward, Andrea and Stephanie. They drew apart as they got older but the good times have always been remembered.
