Ohh no, I hate to hear of Lori’s passing. Lori was my boss at National Car Rental wayyy back in the day, I was only 19 at the time. It was always Lori, Lola, Rosie, Kathy, Marge and me ( the kid ). We would deadhead cars to San Diego from LAX and have dinner and drive back with cars needed at LAX for National. I will always be grateful that Lori suggested I go by KC as we had a couple of Kathy’s or Kathleen’s at National. I have always loved my nickname and go by it to this day. I was thinking of Lori and wrote her recently and had no response, so I asked Lola if she had heard from her and Lola just now sent me her obituary. I truly am sad and can’t believe she is gone. We use to make bets whenever her Rams would play my Cowboys, we loved to tease each other over who was going to win. Lori was there when I got hit by a car at National, when I woke up in the crosswalk there she was leaning over me telling me it will be ok. I will miss her so much, she was one of a kind! I always thought she looked like Elizabeth Taylor, she was stunning! Lori, I might even root for your Raiders and Rams, cuz I know that will bring a smile to your face. RIP my friend, you will never be forgotten. Love, KC
