Gloria Parado was born in Manila, Philippines on July 8, 1940. She grew up devoting herself helping others through numerous charitable works at the Patronato de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes in Malate, Philippines and in Tamasopo, Mexico. Though her efforts as a dedicated dentist touching countless lives, she never sought or expected thanks for her work- the knowledge that she had helped another person was thanks enough.
