Glen and Anneli came into our lives in the Boston area. At the time, I was going through an Astrud Gilberto phase of my musical life. Once when we all were together, at one of our many parties, I happened to be playing a Compact Jazz recording of Astrud's which included her version of "Agua de Beber". As if on cue, and quite unexpectedly, Glen immediately jumped to his feet and treated us all, our jaws agape and eyes wide with wonder, to an elaborate interpretive dance in a style and execution that only Glen could have delivered. With great focus and earnestness he combined smooth salsa moves with jerky, angular Egyptian arm movements. We laughed so hard it hurt. I'm pretty sure I was in a fetal position on the floor, laughing so hard I could barely breathe. Later, whenever we got together and I would play that same tune, the same thing would happen--he would repeat the same dance moves and not stop until that track was over, as if that bossa nova music was so compelling and forceful that he was powerless to resist its call.

Now when I hear that tune I picture Glen's dance as if it were yesterday and I recall with great fondness the joy that he brought to all of us who were so lucky to have his presence in our lives for those precious years in Boston. I shall never forget his wonderful wit, his insightful and often wacky analogies and, oh yes, the endless supply of incredible stories from his youth in Provo--stories that seemed impossibly far-fetched, but yet believable because of his story-telling passion and their minute details which he could recall with such precision.

Glen, you blessed our lives while you were here with us on this earth, and improved the lives of so many. You will always be remembered with great love and fondness. Rest in peace, Dear Friend.

Through the years I have interacted with Glen regularly through the combined Melanoma Tumor Boards and our professions. He shared his exceptional knowledge of skin cancer and treatment with the group always with his priceless sense of humor and artistic skills. He would pass warm greetings to me via video link and always make me feel welcomed and invite my opinions. We love Glen and his family. We are so sorry for their loss. May peace and blessings come to them. We too feel such a loss at his passing. We send our love and gratitude for our friendship and interactions over the decades.

Love for always,

Landon and Jennifer Coleman (and family)

I am so heartbroken beyond belief. 💔 I helped Glen open the clinic up at Huntsman when it started. We worked together for many years and became such close friends and have stayed in touch to this day.
Glen was one of a kind. I am so grateful for his friendship. He was such an incredible teacher and absolutely loved patient care. I will miss his great story telling and sense of humor. May you Rest In Peace🙏🏽💕
Glen, your pursuit of knowledge and curiosity was unsurpassed , your care and generosity for patients and friends was unparalleled and you brought us joy and tears with your stories
The world is not the same with out you. Rest in peace my friend 🙏
Glen was one of the best educators I have ever known. He was able to take extremely complex concepts, boil them down to their essence, add an analogy or two that was completely understandable and leave you laughing in the process. He made the melanoma tumor board one of the best in the world - always welcoming, encouraging, and thought provoking. And his true north - the patient - was always on course. We will all miss you, Glen!
