My mom loved to dance. And she loved music of all kinds. She taught us to love the arts. She had us memorize poetry mostly from Robert Louis Stevenson and took us to the library weekly. The family holidays were filled with music, the artistry of her cooking and every Sunday was like a Thanksgiving Feast. What wonderful memories of a fantastic mother. Her garden skills were endless. Picking berries and tomatoes and grapes and being outside in the warm sun were things she especially enjoyed. Visiting Italy many times and learning where her ancestors came from and meeting her extended family after so many years was a thrill she embraced. Her love and caring will always be with everyone she touched. Her family was always put first and she will live within us always. The love of a mother never dies. Missing you with every breath I take.
She loved reading and taking us to the library each week as children. As a favorite, Robert Lewis Stevenson she had us, her children memorize poetry. She also gave us the gift of music that we will hold in our hearts forever. Deeply missed by her family.
