Look closely and you’ll see Gilbert in the photo (he’s in the cell phone). The family was celebrating their father’s 90th bday!

There’s so many things I want to say but we would be reading this for days. Gilbert came into Michael and my life when my oldest was a baby, who is now turning 23. Gilbert was stubborn, a sh!t talker, takes no BS from anyone. That is MY brother in law. That’s why we got along “perfect.” I loved sitting on the couch next to him as he would just shake his head at me because he didn’t know what to do with me at the time 🤣 . We would joke and give each other a hard time and then start laughing. The next thing I knew Gilbert would be in the kitchen cooking something. Gilbert was always wanting to cook for someone or just take care of someone someway somehow. I can’t tell you how many times I personally would tell Gilbert and Tracy, “Gilbert is a stud” “This guy is a beast” and anyone who knows Gilbert would agree. I miss and love you Gilbert and I know you’re probably looking down on me shaking your head again and laughing at me 😂 You will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Gilbert sent me this message while I was recovering from a minor medical procedure. He was always so thoughtful and had a way of brightening my day.

I will always remember Gilbert's smile, and his sense of humor. He was a very happy man and has a great family to show for it. He will be missed very much.

My deepest condolences for your loss. May God be with you and family to give you strength and courage during this difficult time. May Gilbert Rest In Peace.
Gilbert once gave his jacket to a homeless woman.
In response to "What act of kindness did you witness from Gilberto?"
There are no words to alleviate the pain caused by the loss of a father. He will always be remembered in our family rosary. May perpetual light shine upon him.
We are so very sorry for your loss. Josh enjoyed the time he spent with him and your family.
