Background
Gerard Muffly was an active OSAT member and volunteered as a Trip Leader helping many other folks in recovery experience mountaineering. Gerard was always his truest self in the mountains.
One Step at a Time is a unique organization melding outdoor activities such as climbing, hiking and biking with recovery.
OSAT was started in 1991 by Jim Hinkhouse, a recovering alcoholic. OSAT is comprised of both an outdoor club and affiliated but separate AA groups. You can learn more about OSAT here: https://www.osat.org/Jimmy Contribute
