Gee Gee's obituary
Geraldine Gray Emory, age 88, of Roseville, California, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, in Carson City, Nevada. She was born on August 5th, 1936, in Berkeley, California, to Carl Daniel Milton Gray and Lucy Elizabeth Gray.
Known lovingly as “Gee Gee,” Geraldine spent her formative years in Piedmont, California. In 1959, she married her beloved husband, De Emory, and together they built a beautiful life. They settled in Orinda, California, where they raised their two daughters, Julie Emory and Robyn Emory.
After nearly 30 wonderful years in Orinda, Geraldine and De retired to Roseville, California. Their retirement years were filled with joy, companionship, and cherished memories with their adored cat, Tommy. The couple shared a love of travel and spent their time exploring the world while also helping to raise their granddaughter, Kate Emory.
Geraldine was deeply devoted to her husband, family, and home. Her faith remained a cornerstone of her life, as she continued to hope for heaven and looked forward to reuniting with her loved ones in eternal life.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Geraldine Emory is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Robyn Stein, and Robyn’s husband, Dave Stein; her granddaughter, Kate Emory Brandy, and Kate’s husband, Jordan Brandy; and her great-grandson, Jackson Brandy. She is also survived by her niece, Marsha Young, and Marsha’s daughter, Elizabeth Young, along with Elizabeth’s two sons, James and Jackson. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick DeWolfe Emory, her daughter, Julie Emory, and her sister, Jean Lasher, who now rests in eternal peace.
