I'm sorry to say I haven't seen Gerry in quite awhile, but we grew up together down the street. We had a lot across the street from my house and we played baseball there. I remember one day he hit a baseball all the way to our driveway. He and I used to get together when I was younger and we would play with a ping pong paddle wnd wifffle ball, he on his knees and me standing, he could still beat. I used to see quite a bit before he moved to Danville. I will miss him. He will be in my prayers, go in peace. Amen
Oh, the memories! Our real estate office was round the corner from the Bluewater Sea Garden, which was our stopping off place after work for good advice, lots of laughs and a great dinner and libations! Gerry was always the happy guy who gave a bad day a lift! Our daughter worked there for a while - he was such a great part of our lives until we closed shop and moved to AZ. Always full of good stories, or ready to appreciate ones we told! Sending best wishes to his family who must have the most wonderful memories of Gerry!
So many fond memories of Gerry, many of which revolved around food and his amazing hospitality. He was always so generous, inviting us to the restaurant and making us feel so important when we arrived! He fed us endless amounts of delicious pizza which was more valuable than gold to a teenager. His big personality, laughter, and generosity will be remembered!
I have so many fond memories at your Dad’s house and restaurant in high school, followed by many holiday parties and momentous celebrations in our adulthood.
Mr. Sheehan, you were a great man and Father to two of the best women I know.
