George was just a great man and the world needs more of those.  He made everyone around him better and his laugh was SO infectious.  Above all, he cherished his family and I will miss him dearly.

I was so deeply saddened to hear about George’s sudden passing. He was not just a colleague, but a remarkable person who made an impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, dedication, and unwavering positivity were truly inspirational. George was always there with a smile, willing to help, and led by example in everything he did, both as a manager and as a man.

His presence will be missed by all of us.  My heart goes out to his family during this incredibly difficult time. Please know that we share in your grief and are holding you close in our thoughts and prayers.

I worked with George at Affymetrix.  I considered him my mentor.  I remember his famous saying: don’t bullshit your customers because they know more than you do.  I took this in my heart and made a big difference in my sales career.  Even though, we only worked together for short period of time, we stayed in touch through the years.  He came visited me while in Boston.  His big smile always stay in my mind.   It is shocking to me that he leave us so early.  I can’t think of any reason except God wants him more than us.  Rest in peace, George!!!  You are forever in my heart until we meet again.
