Gearold's obituary
He was born to Emery Oscar Pontius and Lucy Agnes Pontius, May 09, 1946 in Medford, Oklahoma.
Military Career: SP 4 (T) Pontius served his country as a Mechanic in the 10th Trans Co APO SF 96491 of the U.S. Army for 6 years. In 1966 he was deployed in Vietnam. In 1968 he was honored with the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal.
He married Patricia Pontius in 1983, and they lived together in Medford. Gearold worked as an oil field worker and mechanic. They had one daughter, Ann Marie Pontius (Perrett).
Gearold is survived by his wife Patricia Pontius of Medford, OK and daughter, Ann Perrett, as well as 3 grandchildren Haley, Christian, and Payden all of Atlanta, GA.
