Personal note from Abbey, Bunny Grandma's Granddaughter

I find it too difficult to really articulate the impact Bunny Grandma had on the world around her. How do you distill decades of love, care, and generosity into a few paragraphs? I am reassured by the fact that so many people out there who met her already know without me finding the words, and they all carry on her legacy in their lives. She was one of my best friends; people often remarked on our similarities, and while Grandma would joke that she was sorry for it, I found it to be the highest compliment each time. She was so incredibly funny, smart as a whip, and generous beyond belief. I miss her deeply and I know I will miss her every day to come. Her impact is wide reaching, from Toledo to Texas to California, from raising her loving family to teaching children about the Lord to giving to causes across the world. I am happy for her, that she is at peace and reunited with Grandpa, but it is a terrible thing for those of us left behind to adjust to being without her. Because we know so many people in so many places have loved her and been loved by her, we decided to make this memorial site for people to remember and post tributes to her. Please feel free to post photos, memories, and thoughts. Thank you for joining us in honoring her.
