Fresco Arandia, son of Jose and Rosalina Arandia, was born on March 27, 1952 and raised in Tandoc, Camarines Sur, Philippines. He worked for many years as a tailor, but his passion and primary activity was farming on his family farm. In 1977 he married Sonia Arcilla, who is now deceased.
