Fredricka's obituary

In Loving Memory of

Fredricka Woodburn Lamb Dahlander

Affectionately known as “Baby Bear Mom”

June 20, 1941 – May 30, 2025

Her 3 daughters Kristin Paschkey,Sanna Dahlander and Lulli Dahlander.Though our hearts grieve the loss of our beloved mother, Fredricka , we know that she would not want us to dwell in sorrow. She would want us to lift our eyes, remember her with joy, and celebrate the remarkable life she lived. While we miss her deeply, we rejoice in knowing that she has gone home — crowned in glory, whole in spirit, and resting in the presence of the One she devoted her entire life to.

When cancer returned, she met the decision with clarity to pass away peacefully in her sanctuary she cherished. Her daughters, Sanna and Lulli ,and grandson, Khristian, stood by her side, each in their unique way, caring for her with unwavering devotion and honoring her every moment with the dignity, tenderness, and grace she gave so freely to others throughout her life.

Born into heritage and light, Fredricka came from a lineage of strength and dignity. A debutante in her youth, a gifted artist, and a visionary, she carried elegance not just in posture, but in heart. With Finnish roots and high-society beginnings, she lived her life with humility and quiet majesty — a woman who wore her invisible crown with ease and her angel wings with grace.

She lived not for recognition or worldly accolades, but with a steady faithfulness and innocent beauty that touched everyone around her. She never so much as received a parking ticket, never left a bill unpaid, and always honored her word. Her life was its own sermon — full of integrity, discipline, gentleness, and unconditional love.

A devout Christian and true spiritual warrior, Fredricka dedicated her life to Jesus. She led many to the Lord, not by force, but by the quiet, radiant testimony of her actions. She was bold in her prayer life — interceding, rebuking darkness, and taking spiritual authority in love. She stood outside abortion clinics in peaceful protest, prayed over strangers with divine conviction, and fought unseen battles through her faith, never for attention, but always for love.

She lived like a martyr — constantly giving, even when she had little left for herself. She was a healer of hearts, a refuge to the lost, a fountain of kindness. Her life was an outpouring of selflessness and grace.

As an artist, Fredricka could turn the simplest objects into moments of beauty. Her creativity was not just in what she made with her hands, but in how she made people feel — at home, at peace, and deeply seen. Her heart made art. Her spirit made sanctuary.

She is survived by her brother Peter, loving daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, and great-granddaughters. Her legacy is one of light, love, truth, and devotion — to her faith, her family, and the quiet work of the soul.

Fredricka was, and always will be, our Baby Bear Mom — a rare and precious soul who walked this earth like a poem, loved like a prayer, and left everyone better than she found them.

She wore her crown well.

And now she rests in peace, in her eternal kingdom.
