Background
Our Story: Carrying the Crown and final wishes for Fredricka
In the final months of our beloved mother Fredricka Woodburn Dahlander’s life — affectionately known as “Baby Bear Mom” — she made the brave and dignified decision to remain at home, surrounded by love and comfort, rather than undergo more medical intervention. Her daughters, Sanna and Lulli, immediately stepped in to care for her full time, leaving behind their homes and careers to give her the round-the-clock support, peace, and tenderness she deserved.
What many people don’t know is that Fredricka’s finances had been placed in the hands of someone she trusted, who unfortunately failed to uphold their fiduciary duty. As a result, much of what she had saved was mismanaged and lost, leaving her without the resources she should have had in her final chapter.
Sanna left her job in Colorado and moved into the home. Lulli left her place in Palm Springs and joined her sister. Neither of them received financial compensation or support for the care they provided — they simply did it out of love.
Now, with Fredricka’s passing, we are facing urgent financial needs — especially the property taxes on her home, which are due by the end of the year. This home was her sanctuary, and we want to preserve it not just in her memory, but to honor the love and legacy she poured into it.
We are humbly asking for your support. Your donations will go directly toward:
• Paying the property taxes on Fredricka’s home ($4,900)
• Helping her daughters stabilize after months without income while providing full-time care
Every contribution helps carry forward the love, dignity, and grace that Fredricka brought into this world. Thank you for helping us honor her the way she deserves — with compassion, with beauty, and with her home becoming a sanctuary for her family. Contribute
