I have known Fred most of my life and have very fond memories of my time with him.
He was a prolific story teller and an avid reader of every type of book imaginable.
Even in his last years, he was constantly surfing the internet, reading articles about different things.
He will be missed.

Fred Déschamps was known to many of us on and around The Plateau Mont Royal. Bard of the bar, raconteur de blagues, teller of tales, Fred enjoyed the company of friends at Jeans Restaurant, The Swiss Hut and La Scala. He told his final story last Friday May 21-2021 and then departed peacefully at 77 years old.
Family and friends will miss him big time but memories of him will surely continue to put a …
