Fred Déschamps was known to many of us on and around The Plateau Mont Royal. Bard of the bar, raconteur de blagues, teller of tales, Fred enjoyed the company of friends at Jeans Restaurant, The Swiss Hut and La Scala. He told his final story last Friday May 21-2021 and then departed peacefully at 77 years old.
Family and friends will miss him big time but memories of him will surely continue to put a smile on our faces. How well we remember someone with such extraordinary abilities to recall events and situations with remarkable accuracy and humour!
A post Covid gathering to honour him will likely take place at Parc Jeanne Mance. To be advised.
