I have known Frank for 55 years through our days in the Army, post-Army life in Akron, our years as fellow TWA pilots, and during our retirement years. Although we did not live near each other, he always was a close friend. He was a kind man with a big heart and an easy-going demeanor. He loved his family, and he spoke of them often. He was deeply in love with Meg, and he missed her very much. Now, they are together again forever. I will miss him. Rest in peace my dear friend.

1962 was the year I met Frank and I have since enjoyed a life’s time of knowing one of the best examples of a man who loved one women, one dog, his family, and his country. He always had a smile that would melt your heart. No matter how mad Babe would be, he could always find a way to make her laugh and turn her day around. His sense of humor drew good friends that lasted forever. He was a wonder father and papa to Georgia, Franco, Frankie, and Amy. He wouldn’t even bend the rules at golf, laughs my husband David Amato. We will miss him everyday and keep happy memories alive in our hearts forever and may he rest with his one true love in piece.

I have lost one of my best friends. I will miss him dearly.
Nothing but pleasant memories of Frank. The kind of person that everyone wanted to be around. He was so easy going, always joking and laughing. I can still picture his jump shot when he would come over to shoot hoops in the driveway.
Frank and Amy,
You were so lucky to have such tremendous parents. Our condolences.
A great neighbor as we grew up with Frankie and Amy in Kansas City. I remember Frank as a great father, role model, and a man with a big heart. Prayers for the family!
