We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Frances Spencer, formally of Meriden, CT. Frances passed away peacefully in Hollywood FL, with loving family by her side, near and far. Fran, the matriarch of the family, will be missed tremendously. Frans loving spirit and love for pierogi and spanakopita making, will not end with her passing. She has taught her daughter and her granddaughter how to continue this on for generations to come. The most important thing in life for Fran, is and was family. She was the best daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend anyone could ask for. She would always be honest with you while still being so supportive. While in CT, Fran volunteered at the Senior Center in Meriden. Fran lived a happy beautiful 88 years of life. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard (Dick) Spencer, her sister and brother. She is survived by her children, Donald Spencer (Karen), her only daughter, Lynn (Spencer) Zipoli ( Jerry), and Jeffrey Spencer Sr. (Cynthia). Her grandchildren, Jeffrey Spencer Jr. (Caroline), Seth Spencer( Natalia), Dylan Spencer( Kimberly), Melissa (Spencer) Zoni ( David), Jason Zipoli ( Diana), Blake Spencer ( Melinda)and Anthony Zipoli. Her great grandchildren, Theron, Ciaran, Marina, Aubrey, Benjamin, Zoey, Grayson, Cole, Lacey, Olivia and Alanna. Fran will be laid to rest, with her late husband, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden, CT. Lets raise a glass for Fran, and celebrate all she has blessed us with.
