“JR” was a great role model for the rest of the family! Pictured on upper right.

Uncle Floyd will be surely missed. Especially by Aunt Geri, his children (and their spouses), his Grandchildren, brothers, sister and many nieces and nephews.
Most people only get to see their Aunt and Uncle at Family functions on one side of the family but I was double blessed I got to see them and my double cousins on both sides!
I have so many memories of Uncle Floyd from picking strawberries and selling them and veggies in his little booth outside his Cohocton home (while making sure he got that quarter for the baskets;), watching the 4th of July parade from his front yard, to keeping up with how all his kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews did in school and what their life plans were. We would play pasture baseball on the Haff farm, I would bring sandwiches and drinks to the Haff brothers/men while bailing hay, and we would play cards until time for bed only to wake up in the morning to the Haff men heading to the barn to milk the cows.
I remember him hunting with the brothers. Occasionally, they would let me “drive” the deer to them as they hunted only praying I wouldn’t be mistaken as one of the deer. 😋And, if they got a deer, Uncle Floyd had the precision of a master butcher in dressing the deer.
There are too many memories to list but I was a witness to him leading a good honest life raising amazing kids with my Aunt Geri. My heartfelt prayers go out to them as they navigate through their grief.

Mr. Haff was my guidance counselor when I was at Warsaw Central school. I attended Letchworth school for years before my mother moved us. I credit, Mr. Haff with guiding me towards my nursing career; now I have a doctorate of nurse practice. I would not have known how to navigate this dream without him. My sympathy and thoughts are extended to his family.

My condolences for your loss. Mr. Haff was such a positive influence to me as a young man. I can't imagine the breath of his positive impacts to so many young people.

You can tell the character of a man by those he left behind. So sorry for your loss Jeff. But he was very proud of you— as he should have been!

My maiden name was Kathie Merrill. I was in Melody's class in high school, and we were involved in several music groups together. I remember both of your parents well. I am sorry for this loss and praying for the comfort of your entire family.
