I want to thank all of our family and friends who came out Saturday to help celebrate Adnan’s life. I wish that I could have talked to each and every one of you for hours, reminiscing and letting you know just how special you are to me and were to him. Your overwhelming support and love the past 7 months have been a lifeline for the kids and I and it means so much that you loved Adnan (and us) enough to to take time out of your summer to spend the day celebrating him. He would have been overwhelmed with emotion to see you all there. Please know that I love each of you dearly and we are so blessed to have you in our lives. ❤️

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Dr. Fikri Adnan Akyuz, who departed this life on January 5, 2024, three days shy of his sixty-third birthday. Born on January 8, 1961, Adnan was a man of boundless energy, joy, and a ceaseless love for adventure.
