Evangeline Dawn Norton, affectionately known as “Vange” passed away on her 93rd birthday, May 20th, 2024.
Her journey began in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 20th 1931. She was one of nine children born to John and Erna Kamuchey. She came of age during the Great Depression where she learned the value of hard work and sacrifice.
After high school, in pursuit of her dreams, she embarked on a solo journey to California by train. With …
