Debbie, Ed and family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. Evan was always a joy to be around. I have so many fond memories of him! I remember when he sang with our youth church choir and he and Jarrett played the parts of Roman soldiers in one of the church musicals. Speaking of musicals, what a joy he brought to the stage in Orangewood’s rendition of Little Mermaid. And of course, Jarrett and I will always cherish his friendship and wisdom throughout those middle school and high school years.
Our prayers are with all of you. Lots of love,
Kimm, Chris, Jarrett and Ava

We are heartbroken and feeling so devastated since we learned of Evan's passing on Saturday. We have cried and mourned, but also spent so much time laughing at all the great memories we have had with Evan. We are so blessed to have had him in our lives and wish so much that we had more time with him in recent years. He could always make you laugh and gave the best hugs.
We remember things like him being our youngest groomsman and his sweet smile standing up there, and him later that night catching the garter belt. He had great dance moves even at 9 years old! He was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephew and they have nothing but great, loving and happy memories with him. We watched videos of his dance off with Wyatt in Christmas PJs and loved seeing his sweet demeanor.
We always think we will have more time and live for the hope of the future together. We will spend the rest of our days missing him but also living out his legacy of who he was. We look forward to being reunited with him again one day. We love you Ed, Debbie, Kristen, Meredith and Donny. We are so very sorry this happened and wish more than anything that we had more time with Evan.

No words could ever ever express how sorry we are for your loss. I was blessed to meet Evan at Jake and Nakia's wedding.
My husband and I had a sweet time of fellowship with him

I never had the pleasure of meeting my work colleague Evan in person, as I am based in California, but was responsible for navigating the recruitment process when he joined Bonterra Organic Estates. From the first phone conversation in 2022, he struck me as incredibly sharp and mature beyond his years. The inspiration behind his founding of ‘Mason Jar Mixers’ was such an indelible story. Not only was it a clever concept, but it showcased his unique ability to conceive and grow it at such a young age. My condolences to his family and dear friends.

I am still in shock after hearing the news on Saturday. It doesn’t seem real and I keep hoping that I will wake up from this bad dream. There are so many things that I wish that I could’ve said to him before he passed, and the regret of missing out on so many more memories that we could have had together.
As I reflect back, Evan was someone that was an amazing human being. He would give you the shirt off of his back, he was wise beyond his years, and he put others before himself. His personality, and way of making people laugh reminds me so much of my son Wyatt. I see so many similarities between the both of them and hope that my son grows up to be the same kind of man as Evan was.
Dad, Debbie, Kristen, and Meredith, I’m so sorry for your loss. We love you and we love you Evan and will miss you daily. This world has lost a great man but the memories, and the lives that he touched will live on. 27 years old is too young but the impact he had and legacy he is leaving will last much longer.

Debbie, Ed, Kristen and Meredith,
Evan was a bright bright light and I know that he shines even brighter now with our father. I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words. I have been praying on and off for you since I heard yesterday. Cling to the cross right now. And know that you are deeply loved and being prayed for.
