Dear Ed, Debbie, Kristen, Meredith, and extended Pughe family,
Our memories of Evan are of a positive, fun-loving young man who followed in Jesus' footsteps. His smile was contagious. We had the pleasure of interacting with him during his time at Orangewood Christian middle and high school. Our sons were very close, playing basketball and football together, attending many classes and participating in numerous social activities. We are deeply sorry for your loss; our heart breaks for you. No parent should have to lay their baby boy to rest. May the memories celebrating his 27 years of life bring you comfort during this difficult time. We are praying for God’s presence and strength as you grieve the loss of a beautiful soul. Evan will be missed dearly. Until we meet again…RIP Evan.
Here are some pictures we found of your handsome and charming son, who touched the lives of many in such a positive way

Evan has taught me so much of what it means to be a better human. Leading by example, his tenacity for others is palpable. His strength and devotion for the well-being of his friends and family is something I’ll always admire. Since the day I met Evan, I was blown away with his mature discipline to accomplish anything, whether a small goal or milestone, he trail-blazed everything he tried and then some, while caring and inspiring others! I’m left in awe of his spirit of faith, love, and courage to name a few. I know you’ll always be near. Love you buddy for the laughs and the lessons! You will be tremendously missed - Donny
