With humble acceptance of God's will, we announce the passing of Eugene Robert (Bob) Simmons, age 81, on December 27, 2023.
Born on January 13, 1942, in Pennsylvania and raised in California, he made Alabama his home in 1973.
He served his country and joined the Air Force in 1960. He worked in commercial and private aviation as a pilot and instructor. Bob was an accomplished musician, playing the pedal steel guitar for over 50 …
