Eugene "Gene" Morrow Sr. Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eugene "Gene" Morrow Sr., who left this world on March 20, 2022. Born in 1943 in Monroe, Louisiana, Eugene made a lasting impression on those around him throughout his 79 years.

A proud resident of Monroe, Eugene embarked on a successful career as a welder and pipefitter until his retirement. His dedication to his craft and exemplary work ethic will long be remembered by his colleagues and family.

Eugene's personality was a force to be reckoned with; he was often described as prompt, blunt, polite, professional, witty, happy, and funny. His ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him made him an unforgettable presence in the lives of many.

Eugene is survived by his four children: Angela Cypret, Gene Morrow Jr, Lori Younglove, and Reay Morrow, numerous grandchildren and great grand children, and his wife Helen Morrow. He preceded his parents and four brothers in death. We will carry on his memory, passing down his values and humorous anecdotes to future generations. His loss will be deeply felt by family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him. As we mourn his absence, we remember the countless moments of joy and laughter he brought to our lives.
