Dad, was a creative personality and many had opinions about him. However to myself and a few other of his children he was a loving, kind, and steady rock that we built our lives around knowing he would be there when times were tough. He was not the doting father but he was the father that was there when things went wrong to help us through it and give guidance to help us learn to be responsible human beings. The song Daddy's Hands by Holly Dunn is what I think of when I think of him.
