It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Eugene McCarthy on April 15, 2023.
Born in Carbonear, NL in 1931, "Junior" was always on the move and lived life to the fullest. He spent his early years in Gearyville working as a taxi driver and playing hockey for the Corner Brook Royals before moving to North Plainfield, New Jersey in the 60s. He returned to Newfoundland and operated his own business …
