It’s been a year since Ethan’s passing. I’ve learned a lot since. I’ve healed along the way. I’m no longer upset or afraid of the fact that he passed. It’s unfortunate that tragedy seems required at times to be awakened to new senses of peace. I have more love in me than I had before. I love you, Ethan.

What made Ethan a special soul was that it wasn’t until I went to Ethan’s celebration of life, that he had so many people who loved him. Yet, he never made anyone feel left out. He cared about every one of his friends. I’ll always miss you forever❤️.

I first met Ethan through Dr Lee (his professor) and Ethan introduced me to microscopes. My first impressions of him was that he seemed so interested in what he was doing. This was something he had within him all along. Everything he did, study, teach, play the piano, volunteer with the physics club, he was so into it. He didn’t know me at the time, but he was very friendly. We were in the hot sun for hours. He told me he  was surprised to still see me here and that made me laugh. I miss him very much but I believe he will be always with me.
