Eric's obituary
In 2015, Eric would go on to pursue a career in restaurant management, working initially in Korean BBQ restaurants before eventually making a transition to sushi restaurants. In his management roles, he helped businesses grow and individuals develop from as far east as the city of Chino to as far west as Los Angeles and made great strides in his short career and had once mentioned that the company he last worked for wanted him to become a regional manager.
In his personal life, Eric was a gamer. He would always be up-to-date on the latest PC hardware and was adamant about having the right hardware to increase his skills. He had built multiple gaming PCs for himself and perhaps even for others. But, if he wasn't able to play on his PC he has been known to be found playing on his phone, sometimes even at work (but don't tell his boss that), as I'm sure some of us have the Facebook in-game app invites to prove it.
Eric was often seen as a light-hearted and jovial person, who may have had his movements from time to time, but for me at least, he was always a joy to be around. He would tease others in good fun to make them laugh and would always try to do his best to do what was fair. He was an obedient son who would drive his mom to work every day and helped her make kimchee whenever the time came. He often kept to himself out of consideration for others, not wanting to burden anyone with his problems. He was kind, caring and will be sorely missed
He is survived by his mother, "Mama" Cho, here in the US and by his brother, Ohlyong Kwon, who lives in Seoul, Korea.
제 어떤 말도 위로가 됄 수 있을지 모르겠네요, 이제 아프지 않고 좋은 곳으로 가셨을거에요
I do not know if any of my words of condolences will be able to comfort you, [but] they're in pain no more, and I'm sure they've gone to a good place.
