We have made donations in the amounts of $5600 and $3600 to his high school and collegiate basketball programs thanks in large part of the generosity of all of you. His father and I want to thank you for being a village to Eric “Colin”. We miss him every day. We appreciate all the donations, cards, words and tokens of support rendered to him and our family during this time. Thank you so much.

I had the pleasure of being Eric's English professor for two semesters and got to know him fairly well. This young man always attended class, always submitted his work, and always had a cheerful attitude. I can still see him bopping into the classroom with a smile on his face. One of the essays he wrote for my class, called "My Inspiration," discusses how his dad inspired his love of basketball. This essay will be included in the next issue of Livingstone College's literary magazine, The Bears' Tale. We at LC will sorely miss this sweet, smart, cheerful young man, and, as one of his professors, I personally will miss seeing him in my speech class, which is the next English class he would have taken. RIP, dear Eric.

So sad to see such a beautiful soul be gone so soon. I remember like it was yesterday playing basketball in your driveway with you at such a young age back when I wasn’t even good, or even dressing up as power rangers together when we were little kids. You were the best friend I never knew I needed & I am going to miss you a lot. Rest well Colin❤️
