Lots of Love and Prayers from Big John and his Pacific Island Family... New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga...♥️🙏♥️ prayer circle —We are the lucky ones to be able to pray for such a wonder person and family I heard Emerson only had enough $$ for cremation, so he didn’t have enough money yet! My heart goes out to all of Emerson’s family and friends. He was such a great friend to me and my family. We had many wonderful meals together and I’ll always appreciate going to a 49er game with you. That was an incredible time. May you rest in peace and I’ll see you again my friend.

Losing a friend is not easy popsicles don’t make the hurt go bye bye. Treasure the memories that console you, Treasure the ones that make you angry and work thru it, Treasure the argument that sticks up fresh in your mind and makes you feel guilty, Treasure the honest expression of hopelessness and feel it so you know it was a fleeting memory, Now it is time to get up and it's ok, Treasure the tiredness from a day of listlessness, no desire just sitting breathing, Treasure the ache of the heart and the ever stuck thing in your throat, Eh, loss is like that, When you treasure it all then you feel it and feeling it helps the body and mind say ok I felt that and that and now I am ready to pull myself up and out from under it all. Treasure the moment and the moments of hurt in your mind transform into ones that make you smile, In the end the mind kicks back and only remembers the good and less and less of the past sheet music. I think god has it built into us. We will be warmed by all the friends that are hurting like us, the goodness and gladness.🥰

Wow it rained on March 19, in Emerson’s celebration day. 😍 to " in fijian custom, it rain falls, it means the heaven is crying but for Emerson its a good sign meaning the person passing is a blessing.. all his sins and worldly things are washed before he enters heaven... intersting huh? He was sad to leave the family and earthly treasures he valued and cared about. " Like I keep telling its up to us now..do we sit and relax and enjoy or do we help the way brother Emerson Chin and GOD wants us to help and reach out and share love, hope and faith... we must remember that blessed are those that give than those that receive if we wanna receive blessings... just my 2 cents hehehehe... My legs were not feeling well so I missed Emerson celebration of life. I like their fond memories on the Emerson Chin site. Too bad the video could not be shown online of Emerson’s celebration. Thanks for the take home food to share on Emerson celebration of life day. It was great . It’s no wonder, of God’s sign, that you were able to capture the Animal smiling in the clouds the day he passed he was looking down at us all, that is a miracle! Emerson teaches us - You can fall but you have not lost, you have to start again. If you pick yourself up, stand your feet up to a different beat and serve and when things go wrong join with forces with others, with sincerity and heart, the unity will make worlds. What are we and what does Emerson stand for? With a little curiosity Emerson’s friend Hella Hung told us your curiosity could be placated by looking at his movie “The Search for Animal Chin” by Tony Hawk and other famous skateboarding legends. Emerson earned his fame in the movie HUNG DYNASTY. When he was speaking we could see his friends sincerely and fun spirit and he had to speak and run to work at 4pm but Emerson your friend was sad and gladden by the love of all his hundred of friends crowed and never let Bob Buschart say “this is the last speaker”

On funeral day, family began with a life eulogy, Margaret at lions club talked about the passing at 11:02 am and Ada shared Amazing Grace how great Emerson is song, Phil’s shared Emerson ready to be a fun traveler, Hella Hung shared the fame of the search for Animal Chin we get a serenade to Emerson, Hanna CEO of Red Cross gave us Emerson’s laugh, Aaron gave up the show up and serve Emerson and sister and Sherwin gave us the brother that they unselfishly shared with us, after hang loose and fist bumps we found the truth, Robert on Trenton told us of Emerson’s impact on his childhood and now he and Leanna patrol Chinatown keeping it safely patrolled, skateboarders came, pacific bus people brought school buses, SF giants co workers came, We learn Emerson was real to us and his stories were real.

A dream is not that which you dream laying down… Emerson while homeless was lost but people found him and gave him a hand on bed bugs,taught him to take medicine, cleaned him up, taught him where to get fed. Then Emerson while laying down in a shelter cot had a dream that he couldn’t sleep with— he wanted to connect with the homeless to pay it back. He joined homeless connect and actively gave ideas for medical assistance and showering places for homeless. They later on had showering buses. On his funeral day his friend Nick came to honor him and Emerson’s picture fell, no wind, flowers didn’t move, it was as if Emerson fist bumped him to say “thanks I wanted to see you cause I loved working with you friend on the dream that kept my life awake with excitement .” He always had a copy of meeting minutes on hand for us to read to him cause he couldn’t see.
