Reverend Eloise Rumph, the daughter of Ranger Canty Sr. and Margaret Richardson Canty was born in Sumpter, SC. Reverend Rumph is one of six children born of this union. During the Great Migration, her family relocated to New York City. She later settled in the Bronx and attended public school there. She worked as the lead upholsterer at Karl Mann Associates for many years until she retired and later married and had four beautiful daughters. …
